B. Voc in Accounting and Taxation is a 3 Year Degree Programme initiated in the academic year 2018.It is a UGC funded course and it is run free of cost. This course suits the people of all age groups from any discipline those who are qualified in higher secondary examination.
This programme helps the students demonstrate an appropriate mastery of the knowledge, skills and tools of financial accounting principles and managerial accounting principles. It develops the competency in utilizing tax resource databases to search for tax authority to answer specific federal income taxation questions. It also enables the students to identify ethical issues in cost accounting and apply the IMA code of ethics to make ethical business and professional decisions.
Added to these advantages, MoU's are signed with various Companies to provide hands on training to the students. It gives them experience and technical knowledge about the recent advancements in the field of Accounting and Taxation.
This programme in Accounting and Taxation comprises the study of the sector in the niche. The course renders candidates a platform for instilling in themselves the required skills and understanding of the subject in depth. The students are given a prominent intricate overview of the subject wherein they gain knowledge of the current scenario of the economy of our country.
Programme Outcome
PSO1: After completing this Programme students would gain a thorough grounding infundamentals of Accounting and Taxation.
PSO2: This Programme will provide practical exposures which would equip the student to face the modern-day challenges in commerce and business.
PSO3: In advanced accounting courses beyond the introductory level, effective development will also progress to the valuing and organization levels.
PSO4: Learners will involve in practical activities to demonstrate ligancy of foundational and theoretical knowledge.
