Profile
Community College is offering a course Diploma in Green House Technology sanctioned by National Skill Development Framework under UGC . Green House Technology is the science of providing favorable conditions to the plants. It helps in production of quality produce. This course trains on both business management and horticultural technology skills at same time. It provides self – employment and also gives various job opportunity. It is unique and ideal training for anyone looking to work in their exciting and rewarding field of horticulture. It develops students broad understanding of practices and processes involved in successful plant cropping with practical knowledge. We have a better green house in our campus to have direct practical knowledge. Students can find work at plantations, farmhouse, relevant government departments, NGOs, dairy farms, food production firms etc.
Programme Outcome
PSO1:To start practice protected cultivation of vegetables and cut flowers.
PSO2:To perform consultancy services for establishment and management of protected cultivation.
PSO3:To preferred in commercial protected cultivation units (Vegetable & Cut flowers).
PSO4:To chosen in commercial seed production units under protected condition (Vegetables & Annual ornamental flower crops).
