It is an obvious fact that ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT is the NEED OF THE HOUR as it is the only remedy to the problem of Unemployment, the rate of which is growing day by day in our country.

To inculcate the Entrepreneurial mindset among the students community the Entrepreneurship Development Cell was established.

The Vision of EDC is “to promote Entrepreneurship as a mindset among the Arts & Science Students of our esteemed institution. Thus, the purpose of EDC is not only to promote Commercial Entrepreneurship but also to Promote Intrapreneurship”.

The Mission of EDC is “to convert Job Seekers into Job Creators”.

Proposed Objectives of EDC

To promote Entrepreneurship as a mindset among the Arts & Science Students of our esteemed institution. Thus, the purpose of EDC is not only to promote Commercial Entrepreneurship but also to Promote Intrapreneurship.

To Organize Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, skill development programmes etc.,

To Provide the Informational inputs related to New Venture Creation.

To Guide the Potential Entrepreneurs in terms of

Identifying Business Opportunity.
Access to Technology
Preparing Business Plan
Access to Capital and
Access to Market

To Disseminate Information on Support Services provided by the Government, Financial Institutions & Commercial Banks and other Development Agencies involved for Promoting Industrial Development.

To Conduct Periodical Workshops, Seminars and Conferences in Entrepreneurship promotion and to recognize the alumni of the Institution who have demonstrated their abilities in venture creation.

To Act as Interface between Government Agencies.
